Camino de Abrolhos is a Brazilian estate agency attentive both to investments and to Nature. Its offices are in San Paolo, in the important Avenida Paulista nr. 1439, 14° floor. A floor completely dedicated to the work of Mr. Stelio G. Cristovao, the owner, that besides the “Caminho” carries out other 2 activities, “You Sol” and “incentive Sol”, both dealing with economic-environmental field. Stelio promotes its ecological activities by radio and television programmes mainly within the domestic market (but he has received appreciation also outside Brazil). He cooperates with the most important architects and politicians of the field and also with world-famous environmentalists.
Stelio has developed the project starting from the assumption that the commercial offer should be based on the sustainable development philosophy. Anyway he is not a fanatic conservative of Nature and he is basically a business man.
Therefore in developing the project Caminho he has considered various aspects that could fulfil the requirements of investors, of inhabitants and of tourists in full respect of Nature.

 Caminho de Abrolhos is an apportionment of 372,87 hectares (that is 3.738.700 square meters). 87,50 ha of them, that is 23% of the surface, has been reserved to parkland with environmental restrictions – Reserva Mata Atlantica. This green area is far bigger if we consider also the 38,15 ha appointed for the Celebrity Village – Golf Centre and the areas with facilities inside the Ecovila. So not less than 35% of the total surface is dedicated to green. But furthermore we have to take into account that the apportionment is not destined to create a city of apartment blocks but a village (Ecovila) made of houses with their own green spaces.
So Caminho offers to purchase urbanized building lots with full infrastructures. Each lot has a surface of 450 square metres which is the right size for investors since this is the minimum surface to have a house with a swimming pool. For the most demanding owners there is the possibility to combine 2 or more units without being bound by too big surfaces.

 Of course Caminho does not impose any restriction for the owners in building the houses, but Stelio provides some projects that take into account ecological solutions: collection of rainwater, reutilization of storm sewage, solar panel heating and use of natural or alternative materials. It can seem strange to Italians using PVC instead of wood, but this is totally due to the necessity to preserve the Amazon forest by using a recyclable material.

Anyway consider that nowadays a house built respecting all ecological rules costs as a garage in Italy. Including the building lot!!!
